How do Serious People Deal With Racism when Movies Like This are in Theaters? — 8 Comments

  1. 46. Thank you for another great article. Where else may just anyone get that type of information in such a perfect manner of writing? I have a presentation subsequent week, and I’m at the look for such information.

  2. @PraireGrommet: People who don’t enjoy stereotypes DON’T go to these kinds of movies, but they come in contact with people who do!
    @Bearded Lady: Understood… LOL!!!!

  3. Serious people don’t go to movies like Norbit. I walked out in the middle of an Eddie Murphy movie a decade ago, and haven’t seen any of his movies since.

    The only current PC way to handle a racist/stereotype joke, is not to laugh, unless of course you are a member of that particular race/stereotype, then you can not only laugh, you can tell the joke. For example, YOU can’t laugh at comments about women with beards belonging in the circus, but I can tell all the jokes I want to about that subject.
