When It’s Convenient, Boomers are Called Savvy
I guess the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan seems pretty complicated. I’ve never even peeked at it because my parents are dead and Best Half’s dad is dead and sister takes care of her Mother.
Not to worry, the gummit says we “web savvy boomers” can help parents decide.
I think this really scares me: the gummit says we are web savvy. I think I’d rather have the gummit think we are dopes and have our kids (Xer’s) help their grandparents.
Sometimes it can be a real disadvantage to be known as web savvy. People want you to book their travel, or bid for something on eBay, or fix their blog.
Or choose a prescription drug plan…
“The solution is for web-savvy Boomers to help their parents compare plan choices by using the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Finder at www.medicare.gov.” Koch adds, “This is an opportunity for Boomers to be there for their parents. They need you!”
And we need to be there for them. Remember, every penny you save is a penny you inherit.
I try not to talk about too much. Besides, everyone thinks I’m strange around here.
Don’t blame them a bit.
Confusion reigns/rains. You mean you aren’t tech support for everyone that knows you? I’m surprised.
Thanks for another link back, Sixty! Does this mean I’m conveniently savvy or savvy when convenient and whose convenience are we talking about here?
Savvy huh? So my friends and family have been wrong all these years?
