Friday Five – Nice Beaches I’ve Been To
- Blacks Beach – because they nekkid. I think they also parasail off the bluff above the beach.
- Ft. Myers, FL – because we get free lodging at “the kids” house.
- Negril, Jamaica – because women come along and sell fresh pineapple and bananas and the water is so clear. Some toplessness too. Aside: my first topless glance was at an eighty year old that my wife pointed out for me!
- Sanibel Island, FL – love to hunt for shells
- Polynesian Village, Disney World, FL – because it’s at WDW – the happiest place on earth.
Oh I just hate places where everybody – every body – is so beautiful.
I don’t think I’d like South Beach for that reason. So, yes, I probably belong on Black’s Beach.
I would love to go to Tobago or any of those little bitty islands.
I am scared of nekkid places, even in So Cal. The sad truth is that most people who are willing to run around naked is people you don’t want to SEE naked. For puerile sightseeing, though, the So Cal beaches rule. Throngs of 18-year-old blondes in thongs!
My favorite beach is at Lydgate Park on Kauai, and there is an unnamed beach in the Tobago Cays for which I will pine for the rest of my life. I am a sucker for good snorkeling grounds.

Ft Myers Beach comes and goes as far as being nice goes. If there’s no seaweed or red tide its great. Was just there this week and its in the best shape its been in lately.
why not South Beach? That place is great. Beautiful beach and beautiful people..very hip and trendy.
