Have You Ever Heard of Brain Damage Being Contagious?
My daughter is brain damaged because of an aneurysm. She’s a gimp. Lucky for everybody she can function pretty normally, and they live in Florida where everybody is brain damaged.
But she may have developed a side effect we didn’t anticipate. Her brain damage may be contagious!
Here’s the proof:
Her husband bought one. Professor Electronical. Mr. Replace-anything-around-the-house, sometimes-when-it-doesn’t-need-it. Dr. Trumpet. Bought a necklace!
When Amy told me, I glanced at the link she sent and couldn’t believe it was for SIL. She confirmed it was a “boy’s necklace.”

She said a lot of the Cubs players are wearing them. He is a great Cubs fan. But he is NOT a necklace type.

Ever hear of brain damage being contagious? Should I tell his sister, the holistic healer? Should I tell his Dad, the Cub Fan Clan Leader? I could tell his wife, but she wouldn’t remember because of her brain damage.

There are 5 members of my immediate family at the Cubs game at this very moment, and I can guarantee that none of them are wearing a necklace like that, let alone ANY necklace. They are die-hard fans, traveling over 100 miles one way several times a month just to watch the Cubbies play. If I gave them one of these necklaces for Christmas I’d get strung up or shot.
